Description
This is the most commonly used quality of unalloyed steels. It is widely used in mechanical engineering and in constructions (refined or not). A reasonable level of strength can be achieved through refining. Surface hardening is possible to make it more wear-resistant. The blank versions have a better surface condition than hot-rolled material. The drawn version provides even higher strength.
- Reasonable strength level due to refinement
- Most commonly used unalloyed high-grade steel
- Application in mechanical engineering and construction
